a5c7b9f00b After an unprecedented global pandemic turns the majority of humankind into violent "Infected," a man gifted with the ability to speak the Infected's new language leads the last survivors on a hunt for Patient Zero and a cure. In the pandemic thriller, Patient Zero, humanity is battling intelligent, adrenaline-fueled creatures born from a viral super-strain. After being bitten, human survivor Morgan (Matt Smith) realizes he is asymptomatic and can communicate with the infected, leading the last survivors on a hunt for Patient Zero and a cure. So apparently in a pandemic all the infected will have hard, sculpted bodies.

As a lover of hard, sculpted bodies this unfortunately is the only saving grace. I have no idea why Matt Smith, Natalie Dormer and Stanley Tucci even agree to this?! Seriously, this is the kind of movie who should be played by actors who are starring in their first roles. I had more fun watching the two Piranha movies.

If you do intend to watch this, grab some vodka and take a shot everytime you see a muscled zombie with ripped shirt and rock hard six-packs. Oh, and watch out for Smith's last narration in the end… utterly horrible. I have heard better writing from a 13-year old. Besides the somewhat low budget special effects. It was actually a really good film with an amazing plot.
